Tour and Events Coordinator in COTTAGE POINT, New South Wales
Situated on the Northern Beaches, this tour and event management company who provides luxury travel experiences for a loyal data base of travellers with an interest in science, and events of a similar nature. Our tour programs have travelled to Hawaii, the Arctic, Europe, America and the United Kingdom as well as Australia.
We are seeking an individual for the position of Tour and Events Coordinator who embraces our valued travellers.
Role
Reporting to the Manager, the role's responsibilities will encompass the dual functions of:
- Managing the growth and coordination of tours and events through marketing
- Assisting with the coordination of tour documentation and office administration
Your tasks will include:
- Administering & coordinating events
- Engaging with travellers & responding quickly to event & communication requests
- Coordinating the promotion, planning & organising of successful events & social activities
- Arranging and reconfirming venues and tour providers
- Creating marketing collateral to promote events, including website updates pre & post event
- Coordinating monthly newsletters
- Speaker and event management
- Producing, compiling and editing documentation
- Assisting with every day office operations (post, stationery supplies)
Candidate
The ideal person will be Mac savvy, self-propelled, have an eye for detail and have at least two years experience in an administration, marketing, communications, tourism or travel. Ulitmately, we are looking for someone who cares about our clients well-being and experiences as if they were their own and wants to make the position their own. For the right person, travel bonuses and hosting the tour groups and events would be on the cards.
Position
The position is permanent part-time with a 20 hour week, with the view to full time. The base salary is $35,000 - $50,000 (pro-rated) plus OTE.
